Sustainable Places 2025 (SP25) will take place in Milan, a city with a robust real-estate market and thriving community in design, architecture, construction, and built-environment transformation. The venue offers a 300-person amphitheatre, six fully equipped meeting rooms, and dedicated networking areas.
About the workshop
Europe’s energy transition is accelerating through renewable integration, sector coupling, and digitalisation. Technologies such as AI, digital twins, blockchain, and data platforms promise efficiency and flexibility, but centralised top-down approaches often lack social acceptance, legitimacy, and trust.
This workshop will explore human-in-the-loop digitalisation, ensuring energy innovation is inclusive, resilient, and socially grounded. Together with projects from the Smart Energy Cluster, DEDALUS, Crete Valley, and ENPOWER, EnerTEF will showcase experiences that combine co-creation, flexibility, and market validation.
