TEF Cluster Workshop - Key Takeaways from Enlit Europe 2025 (Bilbao, Spain)
EnerTEF is pleased to announce the release of a new factsheet capturing the key outcomes of the TEF Cluster Workshop held during Enlit Europe 2025 in Bilbao, Spain.
The workshop brought together three EU-funded projects, AI-EFFECT, EnerTEF and Energy Guard, to discuss how Testing and Experimentation Facilities (TEFs) operate, their collaboration potential, and the challenges and needs ahead.
1️⃣ Data Sharing & Governance
- TEFs need a common governance framework → CEEDS.
- Federated data access is key in general.
2️⃣ Common Access & Dataspace Synergies
- Common Point of Access between 3 projects.
- OneClick dataspace in combination with ENERTEF (Interstore / OneNet).
3️⃣ AI Infrastructure & Integration
- AIoD / DeployAI will need to integrate.
- Currently ML workbenches / AI sandboxes are different technologies.
4️⃣ Expansion, Nodes & Foundation Models
- Add new TEF nodes to the whole synergy.
- Try horizontal expansion.
- Possibly share nodes across projects.
- Synthetic data and its evaluation is key.
