On 6 February 2025, EnerTEF participated in the DATAMITE Project Meetup hosted by OTE’s IT Innovation Center in Athens, Greece. Under the theme “Bridging Research and Industry in EU-funded Innovation,” the event brought together top researchers, policy makers, and industry professionals to explore data-driven strategies shaping Europe’s digital future.
The day featured five focused panel discussions on key topics, including data ethics, privacy, cybersecurity, AI, IoT, and sustainable innovation. Panels addressed:
- Data marketplaces and the role of data spaces
- Data exploitation in the health sector
- Monetization strategies and data as an asset
- Data-driven transformation across industries
- Balancing privacy and security with innovation
EnerTEF joined the dialogue alongside projects such as Crete Valley, DEDALUS, DigiBUILD, Enpower, FORTESIE, HedgeIoT, META BUILD, and ENERGATE, contributing to collaborative discussions around challenges and opportunities in the evolving data ecosystem.
